Adult Swim Stroke Classes now available
Red Cross Swim Preschool is a fun, learn-to-swim program for children ages four months to six years old. At each level of the program, your child will acquire skills and knowledge relating to swimming, fitness, and water safety. This program is designed to appeal to preschool children through games and activities that engage their imagination while they learn skills and increase their knowledge. The last five levels, for ages 3 to 5, Sea Otter, Salamander, Sunfish, Crocodile, and Whale, build swimming skills and teach age-specific water safety.
Red Cross Swim Kids is a fun, learn-to-swim program for children ages five and older.This 10-level program helps swimmers develop the five main swimming strokes, power strokes (front crawl, back crawl) and resting strokes (elementary back stroke, breast stroke, and side stroke). Power strokes are life-saving, life preserving and promote fitness while resting strokes are for staying safe and getting out of trouble in the water. Our instructor`s recognize each swimmers needs and abilities, consider the steps required to improve his or her performance, and provide opportunities for each swimmer to be included in every activity to the best of his or her ability. This program also increases fitness and endurance through enjoyable activities.
